Andrea Hutton graduated from Duke University, and was enjoying a successful career when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 at the age of 41. Andrea is now a motivational speaker, research and patient advocate and writer on women’s issues. Andrea is a Consumer Reviewer for the Dept. of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical  Research Programs, a Komen Advocate in Science and a Rise Legacy Advocate for the Young Survival Coalition. She is also co-chair of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance's Information Task Force and a facilitator for a phone support group for women with metastatic breast cancer through SHARE.
